On January 21, 2017 individuals of all genders, with and without disabilities, will take their tires and feet to streets across America to support the Women’s March on Washington. Feminists from the Disability Action network are heading to Washington DC, to sister city marches, and Facebook to march (and roll) for women.
Disability Action for America is proud to be an official partner to the Women’s March on Washington. Together we are raising attention to women’s issues, and how they impact disabled women.
“‘We march as a way to proudly declare our presence.” Mia Ives-Rublee: Women’s March on Washington Disability Caucus organizer
If you can’t make it to a march in person, don’t worry you can join us with the power of social media. To participate email a selfie and short statement about #WhyWeMarch to email@example.com
